Broken CPU?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

A few months ago I bought a new case. After I swapped everything over, I thought that since I had an extra case. I figured I would put my old motherboards in it. When I put everything in it and hooked it up, I tried to turn it on but nothing happened. I have no clue if it's the board, cpu, or the ram. I also think I may even be hooking up the power button up wrong, but I've tried so many different way. Anyways, I've taken everything out tot eh last piece like everyone always says, but still nothing.

SPECS:

Motherboard: MS-6330 Lite3
CPU: AMD Athlon 800 Mhz
RAM: 3x 128mb(Two of the RAM cards don't say anything on them, and the third one doesn't say much either)

If absolutely nothing happens, no fan, no lights, etc, then it's definently a power issue. Something isn't plugged in right...

I've tested the motherboard, and i don't think that it's the problem. It can turn on; the PSU fan is going, and so is the cpu fan when i have it connected to the board. But when I plug in the cpu, nothing works. There is no burn mark, bend/missing pins, chips or anything visualy wrong with the cpu. Could I be just hooking up the board wrong? When i turned on the power switch at the back of the comp without the cpu in the fans run. But when I do the same thing with the cpu in nothing happens. I'm still thinkign that I'm connecting the power button cords onto the board wrong. i jsut wanna be totally sure that the cpu is the problem before I get rid of it.
