yeah I know.. I don't post much around here.. I lurk.. read.. participate when I can.. but thought I would share some of my life with the OTS crew...
I am/was a born and raised Phoenician.. lived in Phoenix Az all my life.. have been alot of places.. but Phoenix has always been home.. till last week..
Wife decided she was fed up with work and wanted to move job's/ city's... so she quit.. after 5 years.. just told them that March 4th will be her last day.. the end no continue.. game over..
so we have found a place in Lubbock Texas.. where the "Interweb" comes on the "Funny TV's with the keyboard and mousey thing".. but.. I will have my cable internet back.. and I just built a new AMD Athlon 64.. so Iwill be back online soon.. I hope.. ohh and I have a stepson.. his wife.. and their two daughters.. 6yrs and 8 months... to keep me busy..
so.. uhh anyone from Lubbock??? I need someone there.. to start something with computers.. LAN's... anything... put Lubbock Lan Party in google.. and it finds a reference to the DFI Lanparty motherboard some guy from lubbock bought.. hmm not what I was looking for..
well.. 4 weeks to go... can't get here fast enough if you ask me.

Well I almost went to Texas Tech University which is in Lubbock... but that's as close to that part of Texas as I've been  . Never been to anywhere in the panhandle. So I guess I'm just posting for the sake of it

I didn't "pick" that town.. thats where my wife cam from 5 years ago.. that's where my stepson lives.. thats where she knows ppl that can get her a job..

There's a strong chance that I will be attending graduate school at Texas Tech starting in August of this year.
Great opportunity. Unfortunately, Lubbock is two days from anywhere by phone. If there's anywhere in the world that's in the middle of nowhere, it's Lubbock.
