time on toolbar display

The time displayed on toolbar is wrong after a couple days. Error runs from few minutes to 2 hours (slow) once. Time used to be correct all the time. Last couple months this problem show up. Anyone have an idea? thx.

your motherboard battery is dying. if the board is fairly recent and still under warranty, you should be able to get that taken care of without charge. if its an older board, you can replace the battery or have it done in a shop.

thanks, makes sense, didnt know there was a battery on MB. I dont see anything there that looks like a battery. is it a special type, what do I look for to find it?

it looks like a watch battery, although larger. it may be covered with a housing.
