My computer is HP Pavilion 760c; windowsXP home edition.
Recently I had to resort to " System Restore"; now I am trying to load all the various program that I used to have. The Internet Explorer , the outlook express, and the Fire Fox browser went OK, but the Netscape 7.2 couldn't open, why? When I click on the file downloaded does not open. Please help.

Clear the contents of your Temp folder and see if it helps:

1. Navigate to the users temporary directory.
2. By default the directory is located at C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp.
3. Press control-A to select all files and folders.
4. Press the delete key.

But why you would want Netscape installed rather than the Mozilla Suite, I don't understand, unless it is so you can use the Netscape email portal?
