how do i get rid of a virus called win32:trogen-gen?

but usually the scan will link you to its library, which will include manual removal instructions if the program cannot clean it automatically. if the scan you use does not link to a library entry, find one that does.
most of the w32s are worms that make use of security loopholes in windows. make sure your windows is fully updated before you remove the junk.
