Photoshop cs error

I bought a new Sony laptop computer model VGN-A290. I have tried and tired to install photoshopcs and make it work. I keep getting an error 0xc0000005. I have put this same program on other computers and it works fine. Also if I try to use my fax program I get this same error code, BUT! If I uninstall photoshop again, the fax program works fine. PLEASE HELP!
