Socom 2 Constant disconnect

Hello. Recently i've been getting disconnected from "Socom 2" every single game. I haven't been able to play a full game in over a week. Everything will be going smoothly. Everyone says i'm not lagging. Then out of the blue I will just disconnect, it doesn't even freeze before hand. "Disconnected from breifing room" >> "Disconnected from network" And then it takes be back to the main menu (Offline).
I called sony and they said "It's your system". I know for a fact that isn't the case. I have several other online games, and NONE of them disconnect me. Socom never did until the recent server crashes. I've also called my cable company and they said "Everything is working well" So it's not that either. I'm using Mediacom cable internet. Any ideas? It's pretty much impossible for me to play a full game =(

Do you have a router, hub, network switch or hardware firewall?

No, I run my modem directly from the cable wire, to my PS2.

Well do you glitch or do you unplug your Enternet-cable alot??? cuz thats a new patch it happens sumtimes

No I don't pull out my cable. There hasn't been a new patch in months. Also, it's only been happening since those 2 server crashes last week.
