ok this is just an idea, could be big could be stupid i dunno(and since its just an idea i wont do it-kuz im not really playing any games right now besides runescape and thats gay)

post a good game, post why its good, what you like/hate post screenshots post a brief description of what it is why u like it why its good and whatnot

my plan would be if alot of people do alot of different games, laggy could organize them by name and remake this thread and sticky it... that way when someone gets bored and needs a new game, they can look threw this thread, read about tons of games and look at the SS's and choose a game they like... however if noone helps they cant...

Sacred

It's a good point and click RPG like Diablo 2. It has a very large world with plenty of places to explore.

It's also very buggy despite a year of patches. That's the reason I could never get into the multiplayer part of the game.

Star Wars Galaxies

Even though I only played this game for six months, I still like it. I really hope another MMO game will come along that uses SWG's style of economy and character system.

The con of the game is that it gets old pretty quick. There's not enough content to keep you around long unless you want to try out all the professions (I mastered about 8 in my six months).

And then if you really, really like to grind experience you can get qualified to enter the Force trials where it takes a minimum of six months to become a Jedi Initiate (a weakling, basically).

Sacred.

A very nice an big RPG, that I think the Diablo fans will like!
The only thing to "complain" about. Is that like all the RPG:s the hero is terrible out of sufficient money in the beginning. But a trainer can see to that!

Indiana Jones and the emperors tomb.

Lucasarts, have succeded in making a game that feels like the Indy movies.
O.K. This game test your patiense sometimes, though it's a lot of climbing and jumping stuff.
And it takes some time, before you get the control right.
But this game is worth a little swearing sometimes!

Never Winter Nights.

This is my Favourite RPG!
O.K: I'ts rather old by now, and the graphics is kinda retro. But the story and the size of the game make it well worth to own!

Especially if you also get the two expansion pacs: Shadows of the undertide and Hordes of the underdark.

Atari whas very clever when releasing this game, adding a tool pac, that made it possible to create new adventures and charaters + weapons and stuff.
The Never Winter Nights communitys are very active. and there are lots of skilled guys there making new stuff for NWN!

This have made it possible for you to download new characters, adventures and stuff.

I found my very favourite Character, Legolas Greenleaf (Lord of the rings) that have awsome custom made weapons and such. At Never Winter Vaults home site.

And I know that all of us NWN fans, is trembling with exitement for the realease of NWN 2 in 2006.

OK, not really into the whole screenshot thing, but given the problems my system has been having, it's nice to reminice.

I grabbed Tron 2.0 for ten bucks at EB Games in the summer. Graphically it is breathtaking, a real wonder to behold. I don't particularly like the gameplay, i find it grinds along at time, and the weapons aggravate me. But they have freaking light cycles, good enough for me

Really loved KOTOR, and i am waiting to fix my computer to get the second addition. In general, i have little bad to say about lucas arts, as Goranpaa said Indy is a fine gaming experence. I dunno why, but that game is the first to evoke a real emotional response of fear in the scenes with the firebugs and the sharks. It was the first time i quivered since playing doom when i was like, seven. I also like the whole Jedi Knight series, and welcomed Academy with open arms, the sabre combat system rocked.

Splinter Cell, Elite Force, and THPS 2 were classics for their time, and i still find them enjoyable to play.

Finally, the two sleepers i found.

First is DS9 the fallen. A third person shooter which somewhat tried to piggyback the success of Elite Force. The game is a bit more open minded that EF, as straight out running and shooting has proven difficult if not deadly. The tricorder took the cake for me, and although the game had it's bugs, still worth the five dollars i paid for it.

Also, still relatively new, i believe, is Medieval Conquest. I never really was able to get into it, as my computer started acting up only a few days after i got it. It's a whimsical RTS/Micromanagement Game, which has you controlling a band of wizards, rangers and soldiers as you seek out and build your new kingdom. Looks promising and genuinely fun.

Ogre Battle 64:

This is the Nintendo 64 version of the Ogre Battle series. Ogre Battle 64 is a strategy game that has some RPG elements; it's like Starcraft in that you go through a series of missions, each played out on a map with bases and units to control. On the other hand, it's like Final Fantasy in that you control a small group of characters (not the same as a unit, several characters make up a unit) in turn-based combat, with each character having experience points, equipment, spells/abilities, etc. It's an interesting hybrid that you might find fun if you're into strategy and/or RPG games.

Personally I like the RPG aspect, namely developing my characters and kicking serious one-on-one ass with them. The only thing I don't like about this game is that it's very difficult; you can easily lose missions if you don't make good character development choices. There's a LOT of management of items, abilities, unit formations, etc.

Attached are two screenshots.
