The Sims

My computer will shut down while running the sims, and it does not happen with any other program I've used.
I've got a 450watt power supply (which should be more then enough for what I'm using)
and my cpu is around 38c when i bout it up after it gets shut off.
what else would cause it to shut down suddenly?
