Battlefield 1942 problems!

My battlefield 1942 used to work, but then computer broke, so I installed it on this computer now. Everytime I play Single player or Multiplayer the graphics are horrible! Everything is squared off in really big squares, and none of my skins or anything work. It doesn't look anything like it should. PLEASE HELP!

bf's engine doesn't take well to oddities in the video card or memory areas. It'll usually run, but very strangely.
if the system you're using now is as powerful or more as the one before, try upgrading the video card drivers.
