I Am Having A Problem With My Cd Rom Door It Won't Open, Well Before I Realized That Problem I Have A Problem With My Sbc Yahoo Dsl I Click The Icon And It Won't Open And I Cannot Access Any Of It But I Have An Internet Connection I Cannot Do Anything Because I Cannot Use My Cd Rom To Install It Again Is Their Anything I Can Do Till I Get The Cd Rom Fixed ?? Help

Try this: Shut down and gently push a paperclip or sutch, into the small hole in the front of your CD player.
That will often open the door.
Another thing you can do is to download a registry repair software.
Windows often mess up the registry. I myself use the registry repair software once a week, and every time, I have several faults in the registry!

Hey, thanks - this just worked for me (paperclip), about 1 month after giving up on my cd burner (I bought a new one). Anyway, I need the old burner now for an old copy of Nero I have to use.
