Warcraft OPEN ROUTER HOSTING

Hey I tried every step that you said to do for opening the router for WARCRAFT III but, when I typed in Admin in the password box; it took so friggin long and then it said

401 Unauthorized
Authorization required.

plz help ASAP I REALLY WANT TO START HOSTING!!

Do you have a netgear router? If so, the username is "admin" and the passoword is "password". I think that's what you did, but from what you wrote I wasn't sure.

Every router brand has their own default settings for username and passowrd, you need to find those if you don't have netgear. www.portforward.com is the first site that comes to mind that has that info.

Anyway, if you found the default username and password and they don't work, then someone probably set the username and password to something else thaty oud on't konw (roommate, parents, wife, etc) There should be a reset button on your router that if f you press and hold for like 10 seconds, it'll reset all the settings including the username and password. Try that...
