I liked the anime more geared for adult audiences (not particularly hentai) ... like Ninja Scroll, Ghost in the Shell, Akira, etc... I don't really watch too much of serialized anime, except maybe the Macross saga...

I'm with Laggy. I like the Adult ones better. My favorites are Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Record of Lodoss War, Perfect Blue, and some others.
I do enjoy Gundam/DBZ/Outlaw Star and others like it, but I get more enjoyment out of the more adult titles.

Vision of Escaflowne (the japanese version, not that chopped up shit they have been showing on tv), and Cowboy Bebop.
Those are my favs when it comes to series of anime.
For individual titles, I'd have to say Wind Named Amnesia, Perfect Blue, and Castle of Cagliostro.

That is being played on Cartoon Network now, and i am hooked on it. Actually half my grade is hehe......it is a great show

I agree with Nova. Two good series. Ranma is good for laughs, very funny at times. Just about any anime is good, as long as it has a decent story line. DBZ is good for the action seens, which get rarer as the series progresses. Plenty of good movies, my brother has a ton that I plan on watching when I go home for x-mas.

BTW, for you Cowboy Bebop fans, Cowboy Bebop movie was released in Japan I'd say about 4? weeks ago.

not much of an avid fan of anime (although I've seen quite a bit of it).
VHD is about the only one I actually WANTED to watch.

heheh, or maybe that's just me and my preference for mind blowingly odd anime
I like akira, but I'm not a fan of the redub they did recently. The voice acting for some of the characters was kind of off...... still one of my favorites though.

ahh the days when I loved Pokemon. Back in 7th grade, had my nice psychic, damage swap deck, and beat the game again. I still have my cards somewhere under my bed (I think).
