Mouse scroll wheel acts like back buttton

Windows XP, Internet Explorer 6, Logitech MX700 Cordless Mouse:

For some reason whenever I scroll up one notch, then down one notch, Internet Explorer executes a back command followed by a forward command. This has happened ever since I accidentally turned on stickykeys, but may be unrrelated to that event. I am still investigating the possibility that the mouse is screwed up in some fashion.

Any ideas?

go into your control panel and into mouse settings...you can set the controls for what the different buttons on your mouse do...sometimes a mouse has a control program for it too....check that also...this should fix your issue

Heh, I eventually found the problem in the KVM switch I was using. Thanks anyway!
