The GPU is working fine unless I push it.
. It freezes on massive overdraw in Aquamark 3.
. It runs at low FPS on 3D Mark: 9-15FPS on 2nd and 3rd tests. And it crashes to desktop or freezes before the end. (D3DERR_DEVICELOST)
The Tech at Sapphire emailed me saying it is defective if I can't run games at high settings, and to RMA it.
I passed Memtest 86 with no errors.
I installed 5.3 Catalyst driver.
It's running around 40C temp under load. Vcore is 1.4 (as per specs).
VPU freezes whether I activate Video Recover or not.
Going to have local comp shop test the system before I RMA the card. Any other ideas?

the gpu is running at 40 during benchmarks? that seems very odd
i would take the word of the tech and RMA it unless you think something else is defective.

Local tech tested my comp.
The GPU is fine.
It's either the CPU or the MB. My FSB is 200. Ouch. The tech didn't have adequate parts to further test between the two.
RMA to ZZF.
