Need help replacing my ASUS 2800 laptop keyboard

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I purchased a replacement keyboard for my ASUS 2800 Laptop. When they sent me the keyboard they did not include any instructions whatsoever. On the sent keyboard is a flatcable without a connector. I already managed to open my laptop and to reach the old keyboard. But I don't know how to unlock the connector from the motherboard. I am afraid to damagage the motherboard and or the connector. I tried to remove it from the motherboard gently with a litle screwdriver but without success. I also don't know if I have to re-use the existing connector for the new keyboard or if I have to buy a new one and if so what type of connector it is.
Could anyone out there PLEASE help me with instructions on how to take my old keyboard out of the laptop and put the new one in .

Any help or suggestion with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi!

This is a instruction how to do it on a Sony laptop. But maybe it's the same thing as on yours?
