widows xp
p4 3ghz
ati radeon 9800
currently 512mb ram

I need to replace the one of my ram cards in my computer.. for some reason one of them makes my World of Warcraft crash.. as well as many other programs... so i took it out and it still plays just bery poorly in certain areas. Because my computer was custom made, not by any company and i didnt want to ask the maker just yet, i ran across a small problem when looking for a replacement ram card.. the one in my computer now is not on any site i can find that sells ram... not even places like staples, compusa ect... the company is "elixir" and since i cant find an identical card to replace it with, i was wondering if
a) any of you have ever heard of this company
b) how to find what kind of card would be compatable wity my computer

--all help appreciated

a google search says that there is a company called Elixir that makes RAM. You don't need a stick from that exact company, though, just one of equal specifications. Download CPU-Z and tell us what it says on the Memory and SPD tabs so we can direct you to a suitable module.
