What do you think is the worst browser?

Your question needs to be a little more specific. AOL is a pretty good browser for people starting on the internet; you can't plot Firefox in front of someone new to computers and expect then to figure everything out by themselves.

for once, I agree.
I use Firefox. and although I personally loathe AOL, there seem to be a lot of people out there that prefer it to other browsers. I think the correct term is "user friendly"

Here are my views on AOL. 1) the commercials are retarded. 2) You pay, what is it 25 bucks a month? And thats on dial up. If you have cable and aol you are paying something like 75-80 dollars a month just to have aol as your browser. It seems to me people are becoming to lazy. Its really not that hard AT ALL to learn basic computer/internet stuff.

my grandparents use AOL (I don't know why when they can get DSL for $5 more) and I can't stand it. it's waaaay too user friendly. as a general rule, the easier something is to use for "newbies" the more infuriating it is for a seasoned individual to use.

What the hell is your problem? AOL isn't forcing you to use it's service. You're complaining about a product that you don't need to use. Oh let me guess, your parents buy AOL and you have to use it because you can't afford your own internet service. Wah wah wah, my parents have AOL, waaaaaahhhh.
Hey, do you guys want to know what I think the worst toy is? Barbies. Because I can't use them, you see, so that means they are the worst. I especially hate how that tramp dumped Ken and has a mexican boyfriend now.

Well, i hate the AOL browser as well, and i hate netscape, the problem is not everyone likes tab browsing , i hate tab browsing, i prefer a seperate window for each page, also i sometimes if i have several pages open at once tile them on the screen, then you can look at them all, just alter the resolution to 2048 x 1536, and thats, although i like Mozilla Firefox, but still hate tab browsing though, i only like firefox because of the wonderfull themes for it, and the download manager they have seems to have download accelaration.
I can download big files from most sites at 250 kb sec, and if i did it with Internet Explorer it would be 151 kb sec, its about 5 second per meg on my internet, i downloaded a 200 meg file other day in about 12 to 15 mins.
I hate that Opera browser, it is designed like a search engine rather than a browser.
Although my favourite browser is Internet Explorer, And also i hate netscape because they tried to hurt Microsoft, i will never forgive them for that, it was totally unnessary, because you can still choose from them, also Microsoft did the right thing by adding Internet Explorer to Windows, this then enables web viewing while offline, and made it easier at my work place, i think it if there had of been no browser in windows, business would have to go round all there computers and take longer to install the browsing software, since most companies have an internal intranet installed, just image at my work place there is 10,000 computers there, and they would have either had to have a separate install of internet explorer or netscape, it takes the tecnicians 2 weeks to go through them all, sometimes 3 weeks, since this company has loads of buildings all over this area.

Actualy i have comcast... My parents use comcast too, but at one point they wanted to try aol. It was like a long time and it was terrible. Anyway...
