Thanks for any help you can lend on this one. I suspect a corupted Hive File. Does that make sense to anyone?

does this happen often? if its a one time thing there there was just a small glitch somewhere...i come across serious errors here and there on my xp system...but as long as its not an every day thing there is no need to worry about it. its not a error with windows itsself, its another program thats causing the error...so what programs are running when this happened?

This is right at boot up. I have Norton Anti Virus running in the Start up menu, along with my Vid card control panel (ATI control panel), the power saver function for my laser printer and this stupid RAID Tool even though I done run RAID I don't think that's a problem though, it's a pretty simple program
About a week ago, I had to manually repair my Hive Files from DOS. I hope it's not a problem in there somewhere. The last two reboots were smooth after running Norton WinDoctor.
