WMP 7.1 won't play .wmv files

When I try to download in media player I get this message: "Player is selecting a runtime that is not suitable for this file type". Guys, any ideas? Cheers Tony

WMP v.10.00.00.3646 is out...go download that through windows update. and install it. this should resolve the issue. Some WMV fils wont play wiht older versions of WMP.
