Moving email between computers

Help! I run Windows 98 on my old computer. I have purchased a new computer with Windows XP. I need to move my email files to the new machine. The old machine only has Zip and floppy storage and no working USB port. Can anyone help me with directions, or suggestions. I'm sure many others have had to do this so maybe it's simpler than I think.
