I.E. 6 Security Update!

Those of you running I.E. 6 there is a security update. You can get it here:

For those not running IE 6.0, I would personally recommend that you do not upgrade to IE 6.0. One of the reasons - IE 6.0 does not support plug-ins and has diverged from the plug-in support that Microsoft picked up from Netscape a while back.

I would recommend IE 5.5 SP2. Of course, Microsoft may have pulled IE 5.5 from the downloads. I hope not.

I have a problem with that.

ActiveX controls are already a big security issue. Forcing all of the other vendors to use ActiveX controls is simply going to shift the security problems from Microsoft to the other vendors.
