westell dsl modem trouble

im having trouble setting up my verizon dsl service. im using a westell versalink wirless dsl modem/router. i get half way through the set up process and it says... testing configuration may take a few minuetes, ive let it run like this for as long as 30 min and get nothing. also the status light on the router pertaining to the dsl line flashes green. the paper work only states solid green=good connection...no light= no connection it says nothing about a flash. any help would be appriciated.

just reconnect everything
this means that you cant connect
did the day of activation pass?
