Battlefield 1942 mod problem

hey all. I have recently gotten the starwars galactic conquest mod for battlefield 1942. Single player runs perfectly fine, however when I go to multiplayer and select a galactic conquest sever it connects and loads and everything, but about 10 seconds into the game (usually when im about to choose my side) the computer restarts (crashes). Any idea of how i can fix this?
Specs:
Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro2 motherboard
512 ddr ram
Athlon XP 3000+ (2.17 GHz)
Ge-Force FX 5700 LE

I am afraid I am not familiar with that mod, have you tried reinstalling the game?

yes, and updated the audio drivers
