unable to launch - regsvr32 --- problem while installing

I have been playing Warcraft III TFT for quite a while now.
Recently I reinstalled the entire game, and at the end of the RoC installation right after being asked if I wanted a desktop shortcut I got this error message:
unable to launch - regsvr32
error 0x00000002 : the system cant find the file specified:
(C:\temp\020606lockit\installer\source\procs.cpp:90)
operation aborted
I don't know what's wrong. Is it because I'm missing a file? What can I do?
Please help, because I can't play at all now.

PS: Also, I posted this at the Blizzard open tech support forum, but was unable to get anywhere with it.
