As I was just scrolling throught the site boringly..I noticed that at least half our members have 2 post or less and have been around for a while...just a heads up

it's been said a lot.. typically after someone registers, they ask a question, get their answer, and disappear without a trace.

fortunately, ragu purges the inactive amounts every so often so the database isn't cluttered.

As mentioned, the inactive accounts are regularly purged from our database if they haven't logged in for 90 days, and don't have a single post in their name... people who have 1-2 posts under their name are spared from the purge...

This is mostly because our site gets spidered every so often because of our archived topics, and if I remove old users who contributed to those topics, it effectively removes most of those topics. So users who even just say hello in the introductions forum won't get the monthly purge so to speak... it has worked well up to this point, so I don't consider it a problem...

Regardless, thanks for noting! Most sites that boast millions of members have almost half of their members who haven' posted a single thing, hehe
