Tiger Woods 2005/ Protection Error

I have a problem with Tiger Woods 2005, when I installed it and tried to run it I get an error message saying "protection error" and it just locks up. I have to use ctrl atl del to end task to get back to the desk top. I bought this game, its not a cracked version. I did some research at EA Sports and it said something about CD copy protection software, and something to do with programs I may have installed o my system. I also bought NHL 2005 and it plays with no problems at all on the same system? I guess Tiger has more to worry 'bout than the NHL financially,lol. I do have programs on my system that I use to burn games that I do download but I'm not sure which one could be the problem. I don't want to uninstall these programs just disable them temp. like the support sight said to do. Any help would be appr. greatly. Oh I did put a "No CD Patch" in place of the original .exe file and that works to play the game, but if I try to play online I can't.
I have the following progams on my system : Alcohol 120%
Daemen Tools
DVD Decrypter
Nero 6.6 Enterprise Edition
My System is a Compaq Presario 2.4 Ghz with an ATI Radeon 9000 128mb share video card. Running XP Home sp2 with all available updates from microsoft and compaq.
