Javascript not working.

Okay, I'm not sure why or how it happened, but all of a sudden, it seems like sites that rely on Javascript don't work for me. For instance, I can't view Newgrounds movies anymore. I try to click 'Watch This Movie', but I get nothing. I've tried this with both IE and Mozilla Firefox. Mozilla usually does nothing and IE shows a 'Page Cannot Be Displayed'. I think this happened when I went to www.cartoon-fridge.com and downloaded the mod I needed to view the videos, but I can't be sure. Anyone have any idea what's going on? Also, when viewing forums, I have to click the actual forum name, rather than anywhere in the box.

you may need to reinstall your browser, if javascript isnt enabled in the options.

Ok, I tested and this is what I get.

Browser and Operating System Details for your PC
javascript: Enabled
Browser:
Version:
Operating System:
Color Depth:
Screen Resolution:
Available Window Size:
Current Window Size:

Yep, everything else is blank. Any idea what this means?

By the way, I figured out that it isn't the browser(s) or the Java Runtime Environment, because I installed the newest Java Runtime Environment and Reinstalled Firefox. Neither have worked.

there are more tests, thats just the first one. but assuming none of them work on either browser, its something in the OS. run a registry cleaner, and try to uninstall that mod.

Wait, I think I found something. I ran through Mozilla's options, turned one of the Javascript options on and went to Newgrounds. Then a window popped up telling me something about launching an external application and a plugin. Hold on, I'll get a screenshot up.

Not sure if this one is related to the two above, but...

Edit - A few of those Javascript tests didn't work and a few others needed that 'external application' like I've been experiencing with much everything else.

Edit Again - Also, there appear to be a ton of warning and error messages in my Javascript Console (under Firefox's Tools).

Ok, I've been doing some research, cleaning my computer as much as possible and taking notice of a few things and I've come to a few possible conclusions.

1 - There's some malware that just can't be picked up that's causing Javascript to act like this.
2 - Something that's integral to Windows XP Home Edition SP2 that was responsible for running Javascript is either gone or corrupted, like some .dll.
3 - My internet connection or router/modem is doing something.

Now what makes me think of 2 and 3 is that I noticed when I boot up Spybot S&D, it says that framedyn.dll is gone and the application cannot start (but it does anyway), so I'm thinking this .dll and maybe a few others are missing or corrupted on my computer. What makes me think 3 is that the router/modem just plain sucks and now my internet connection is just a little wacky.
