Log-in has expired - Yahoo Mail

I've exhausted my patience with the various help call centers -- all of a sudden, a week or so ago, I started receiving the message that my log-in had expired, and I needed to re-log in to my Yahoo mail account. I can't think of anything that changed around that time....the only thing I did do was install SP 2 on my version of XP Pro...though I'm not sure the times are consistent.
In any case, my settings for cookies haven't changed -- they're set to accept cookies, my password is set for daily asking, I've turned on and off firewalls to check it -- nothing.
any suggestions? This happens on my desktop at home and also on my laptop and started at the same time on both!

just to make sure, have you cleared your cookies and cache?
