When you post or reply to a message, you will see a field below that says "Attach file" ... just click on the Browse button, then find the image you want to post and choose it.

errrrr...again it did not work. I go to my desktop and press print screen, then i go to Microsoft Paint, and save it (under a bmp file). I post, then attach it and nothing shows up. what did i do wrong?

Here's my stupid little desktop, It's rather screwed up since my desktop image I made needs 24-bit color, but NO! And I don't feel like using a jpg tonight lol! Actually my old software to convert it to jpg isn't really working and I don't feel like reinstalling it tonight. But anyways, go ahead and take a gander.

Here is the desktop wallpaper with the Athlon XP logo added. Both pages with or without the logo fit in a 1024X768 desktop well.

How BIG is the file exactly, and why can't you size it down to JPG? How BIG was it in BMP? I am using 1280x1024 res and I cut down my image to 180K when I saved it as a JPG, and it's still medium quality. What is your resolution anywayz?
If you want, upload it to a server so I can download it and size it down...

actually, i have the same problem as wachief. i have to send it to someone to convert it for me, since i dont have a professional graphics program. if i just convert it to jpeg, it stays at a very lovely 1.4 megs.
anyway, here is mine. im having trouble getting the right shade of blue/grey for my task bar. anyone have an opinion on whether this shade works?

My computer would have to be the cleanest. There's only 5 things on the desktop, 6 if my printer worked, 2 folders in addition to the normal ones in the start menu, and only what I use listed in it.
You people need to get organized, what's the point of a good desktop pic if you can't see it?

This is in regards to my desktop icons...
when you select "none" for your wallpaper and select the color of the desktop (black, for example)- the text under the icons is outlined in black. Then, when I go to select a wallpaper, the text is still outlined in black. this looks kinda stupid. Is there a way to eliminate the outline of the text underneath the icons??

Grab the bottom right corner of your playlist window and drag. Doesn't look like your skin has a graphic for it, but that corner allows you to resize it.

You can download different looks from the main site or do a search on Cnet.com for other ones. I use the "wired" theme allot. But tons of other themes are out there. or make your own.

There were other ways to do that you know...
Use an invisibility hack to take your guy off the screen, go into the mpq file and extract the tiles and piece it like that, possibly someone else had done it.

The only invisibility cheat I know of would be ghost mode, in which you are comepletely invisible and such to people in the game.
they don't see you join, they can't see you, you can't talk and you can't kill cast or interact with the game in any way other than walking around.
But you can still see yourself.
peicing out the tiles would be kind of hard without a program to actually view them, they use cl2 format for the maps in d1.

It can view any MPQ file known, and supports almost all file types. It's still being updated too. cl2 is no problem with it, but getting all the tiles in the right place might be hard wihtout some layout to follow.

CV5 is old, kind of buggy too.
It has pallete errors with some d1 things (2 out of 4 that I've tried to extract) as well.
