Serious Speaker problems

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Hi all, i have a serious problem with my speakers. I have an integrated 5.1 sound card and i bough a 4.1 speaker system. The thing is that only 2 of the satellite speakers and the subwoofer work. There is nothing i have done that has made the other two work. Is there anyway to get the other 2 to work also? I have looked in Volume Control, and all that stuff but nothing helps.

PS- I have alsp plugged the other two speakers into teh PC so that cant be the problem.

Thanks

Somewhere in your sound card config you should be able to switch from 2.1 to 4.1. If you really can't find it, try looking in the motherboard manual, it should have a chapter for the soundcard.

if it's an nVidia Soundstorm chip, you should install nvmixer and run the speaker wizard.
