Cable Modem Turns off after left idling

Hello,
Where to start? I have cable internet with Rogers Highspeed Internet and I have a cable modem. The problem is that when i am downloading stuff and go out to do something and leave my computer on to download stuff and i come back after like 1 hour and the internets disconnected? This way i never get to download stuff because it always turns off. So can anyone please help me with this? I will greatly appreciate it.
