I have heard the iPod doubles as an external hard drive.

However, I have not been able to figure out exactly HOW to use it like that. Does anyone here know how? And if so, must it be with FireWire or can you do it with USB too?

Either or. Its pretty much drag and drop copy from C: and paste in the ipod. You can't actually see it until you plug it into a different pc.

There should be an option to "Enable Disk Use." Then, it mounts as a normal disk as well as appearing in iTunes.
