Not able to start pc. Help!

I've recently taken my pc out of storage and set it back up again. It worked fine the first time, then the next few times trying to start it up, it is just beeping after the first few seconds of powering the pc up, with no information going through to the monitor. I got it working once more, but then after about 100 times of trying to reboot, it is still just beeping. I'm not sure if it is a hardware or a software problem. Has anyone got any suggestions on how to find out what the problem is, or how to resolve it?

its hardware. youre going to have to look up the post codes.

thanks for that, redwench. Obviously I don't know much about pcs but I've just sorted it! I love you, and I think I want to have your babies.
