DirecWay Problem

I have a problem playing games online, when i join a server i lag really bad like i'm on dialup playing on a server around the world haha.. anyone have any idea why, and if its fixable? Thanks

The upload speed for a sattelite connection is for the most part the problem, for it is too slow for decent online gaming. Even though browsing and download speeds can be very fast using Direcway's proxy server settings, the slow upload speed and dependence of proxy for speed comming down causes the Lag. As far as fixable, until the sattelite technology gets better, your pretty much stuck.

i am a direcway installer/retailer

typically direcway latency is approximately 1.5 seconds. or 1500 ping
compare to ~120 is what is usually needed for online games

it takes a long time to send something up to a geosynchronous orbit, backdown to earth to the server, and then traversed again.

if you just got your internet access and you told them it was to game online, and they sold it to you anyway. have them take it back. every compitent retailer knows it cannot be used for gaming and we are instructed never to sell it to gamer.

you know whats weird, that direcway does not work for fps games on comps but it alright with anything else, but my point is that when you hook it up to a console (tested with a ps2) i have no lag problems. the games i tested with was thps4 and socom and it waS smooth no lag or anything. its kida wierd. can you please explain to me how i don't lag on console Online and lag on comps, and its not my comp so don't say that.
