Phantom Menace DVD is great...

Yep, just got mine in the mail earlier today, and man, this DVD is just PACKED ... one of the best DVD packages I ever watched ... the "making of" documentary, the deleted scenes commentaries, as well as the other stuff were excellent ... I'll probably have a review of it on my site soon...
With the amount of material packed in this DVD, I am now more anxious than ever to see what Lucasfilms will do for the whole Star Wars saga when all episodes will be featured in one set...
I now have more understanding as to why the scenes are structured as they are after hearing the full-length commentary ... humongous amount of work on the film, indeed...
I also have The Godfather DVD Collection, which I'm gonna watch this week ...

Yeah despite Jar Jar, a lot of people seem to be liking the Episode 1 DVD.
I just baught Young Guns 1 ans 2 and the Saint. I'll probably go ahead and get The Phantom Menace since it seems to be well liked.

yeah- the Epsiode 1 dvd is awesome. The picture quallity is top notch. sounds real nice too.
just watched godfather1 on dvd. quite good. the set would be worth buying if #2 and #3 didnt suck so bad.

cool, i'll have to pick up that DVD.... when does the Final Fantasy dvd come out? i saw mike had it last night AK, not released yet though is it? tuesday?

Final Fantasy comes out this Tuesday (October 23rd). The DVD is quite loaded.

hmmm....
I might pick the Phantom Menace up after this weekend. 
I have the Godfather trilogy. If only to see Godfather One remastered, buy it .
They did a wonderful job of restoring the first movie.
Another film I've recently bought is called Perros Amores.
Perros Amores is a foreign film spoken in Spanish with english subtitles. The plot vehicle for the film is similar to Pulp Fiction in that a number of smaller stories are tied to one major event, a car crash. Also, many of the people from one story show up in the others. This movie is quite violent, and visually busy.

i havent seen the dvd yet i dont have a dvd player well on my laptop but the screen is like 10 in. hehe i so need to get a dvd player. i liked them all better in theaters though. i saw episode 1 the first day it came out bought tickets the first day they started selling the damn line was around the building 2 times hehe.
