my gta sa won't load

when I was playing gta san andreas I finished the whole thing. Then I turned off my PS2 then on the next day it wont load my last save anymore. Help please what should I do...should I buy a new cd or should I start the game all over again?

my GTA SA did the exact same thing, I've tried everything, it's not my system because I can play my brothers game (on his memorycard), it's not my memory card because I copied my saved game onto my sisters memory card and no luck, I don't know what's happening, and I want a answer, someone please help (I'd been playing it for a while now, just one day I saved at the end of the missions in San Fierro, went to turn in back on, and it goes to load, and instead of the usual load successful, it says load failed check the memory card in slot 1 Ps2 so on and so forth) PLEASE HELP:'(

The same exact thing happened to mine. I tried cleaning the memory card.. cleaning the card slot.. nothing seems to work.

The exact same thing happened to me. I beat the story missions. Then i did the Heist missions for your casino and I beat those. I did all of the schools. Then i beat the last Cesar Vialpondo missions until I got to the one where you have to lay down the 'Stingers'. I went and saved it. The next day, i went to load the game, and it said:
'Load Failed! Please check Memory Card (8MB) (PlayStation 2) in PS2 Merory card slot one and try again.
Now restarting Game'.
I can't figure out what is wrong with it. If anyone knows a member of RockStar Games, now would be a good time to contact them!

i hope u dont mean u wanna load a 100% game as it prob wont depending on the country release of the title. but you could have this prob for xbox ver:
If you pass it 100% or any % at all then can not load the gamesave it can be this, you downloaded then ftp'd a gamesave scripted with xbx files to delete on any mod to its file or that u turned off your console during the save/load process or removed/inserted memory modules of any kind. U saved it in on one of the 33 glitches of the game and have unknown read errors relating hex aaaca1120 n xb code save data folder was corrupted by using an illegal version at one stage then playing with legal copy of disc or vice versa. by the way r any of u using mod chips of burnt copies?
