After running ad-aware, spybot and my norton anti-virus scan I can no longer access my bank web-site along with many others. I've had this happen before on my Dell computer with windows xp. Dell has formatted my system twice and the third time I figured the problem out myself. (with the help of reading many post) Only i dont remember what i did. I think it had something to do with either the ad-aware or spybot had to be uninstalled? I dont know but i tried system restore and that wont work. Please help !!!!
Thank s

Ad aware, spybot or NAV doesn't remove such info.
Could it be that you just cleanded the temporary internet files?
Formatting normally means that you wipe everything out of the hard driver so I believe that has not been done. System restore is retuning the OS to earlier date i.e when the system restore point was created and activated, not really recommendable function because all the data that has been inserted after the srp will not be there.
Run a registry cleaner, I use Norton's WinDoctor it easy and does the job almost automatically.
Make sure that IE is working correctly i.e keep a log book about the setting.
Run updated Norton AntiVirus through to make sure that your browser has not been hijacked by virus, trojan or another common 'bug'.
If nothing works there is a change that by paniking the problem was just made worse, in such case get in contact with a friendly PC nerd (not ordinary PC user) who will chesck the setting for you.
You could also download and install browser called FIREFOX and see if that works, well then you have two browsers to use, for the rainy day when the IE causes problems.
Goto Internet, visit your Bank website do all the necessary security inputs and you should see your Bank detiles. Never should you have stored any of your Bank detiles on your computer that is like playing Russian Roulette waiting the bang.
