Video Editing help?!?!

Hey i am making some movies of Killing Onxyia and some of the MC boss's in WoW...lvl 60 druid - Stormrage server. I finaly figured out Adobe Priemere to a reasonable level of comprehension but I have a few questsions..
A....I need to reincode the video to a smaller form...3 mins of video is aleady a gig...dOnt ask me how that happened I dont know..
B...Anyone know how to do Audio dimming and increaseing between clips in Priiemeire?

I use AVI MPEG ASF WMF Splitter to do all my editing, well mainly the cutting and then Nero 6 to do Video CD or DVD (Mpeg4) burning.
Another program that I used a lot is MGI VideoWave SE, it allows you to do special effects before/between/after your clips and you can choose what format you want the end result to be saved.
I think that you have the audio in its full, i. e bring it down to acceptable level.
