Is Registry Fix Software Worth Getting?
I Am Getting Strange Things Occurring On My Computer, Nothing Major. Was Wondering If That Would Solve It

Absolutly! I have runned Registry Mechanic for some time now, and I noticed, that windows works more flawless than ever. I scan with Reg Mech, a couple of times a week, and there is always something wrong in the registry . Sometimes up to 70 faults. And I can see that Windows XP, is very "Good" at messing up the registry.
Several of my friends use Registry repair software too, and they are pleased with it.
And probably a registry repair software will be a good way to try to fix your problem.

thanx, for your reply. i went into a computer store and asked the staff the same thing and they said it was a gimmick and they would do a better job for twice the price!. they must have seen me comin or something.
its plain obious im not a techie, i just wish some of these people would be honest with you.

Gimmick!? lol. The real "gimmick", is those guys, trying to convince you, that you should get your PC to them for fixing the registry. Then you should be forced to go to them a couple of times a month at least.
And I bet they would love to have you doing that.
And besides, what could THEY do, that is so much better, than using a Registry repair? Reinstall Windows, every time ? lol! Or using a registry repair ,"behind your back". And when you come back for your PC, They would probably say, that they have fixed the registry. Using some secret, technique that just they know of.
I can give you an example, what Registry Mechanic can do , for instance. Some month ago, a friend of mines laptop, suddenly could'nt find the CD drive.
He tried everything to no avail. Then he downloaded the registry repair, and he got his CD drive back. He also found , that his Windows got over 700 faults!
O.K. A registry repair software, is'nt any "miracle cure". But it is well worth owning.

Thats Exactly What They Said They Would Do. I Had A Problem With Installing Dawn Of War, Kept Saying Error 1628. Went Into The Guys At The Shop And They Were All "we'll Have To Reinstall Windows Etc Etc". " Sound Like You've Got Major Problems Etc Etc", " The Computer Will Self Destruct In Five Minutes Unless You Bring It To Us Etc Etc".
Being A Computer Novice It Really Scares You.
Seemed Easier To Take The Game Back.

Lol! Yes, The only way, to get safe, from the conmen in the " PC world", is to read a lot, or ask around in forums like this.
And sadly enough, most of those salesmen and service guys, is still chauvinistic. They does'nt seem to understand ( or dont wanna understand?). That women is as good at computers as the guys. Ask Redwench, for instance. She is a living "PC encyclopedia"!

Did All That. Still Wont Work. Third Copy Of Dawn Of War I've Bought As Well. Its A Bit Of A Pain Cos We Do Warhammer Gaming Anyway, And Thought Pc Version Would Be Excellent. Thanx Anyway

Please stay away from "Windows Registry Repair Pro" by 3B Software. It has screwed up my system files twice. Now the cd is a handy coaster, which by the way is the only job it is qualified for...
