Blurry monitor

Last Week my monitor whould randomly get blurrly for short periods of time, over the next couple of days it just got worse and now it is just blurry all the time. Its very hard to read text but if I'm playing a game or watching a movie I dont notice it. I have tried downloading updated drivers and installing them and it didn't help. I have no idea what to try next. If anybody has any ideas I'm getting desperate. Thanks

Do you have any possibility, to test the monitor on another PC?

Just , to make sure, before you start carrying the monitor around. Check the connector from monitor, to videocard, so it have'nt come loose. And tug the cable gently wile the PC is on, to see if you get any distortion in the picture then? If you then got dist. You probably have a faulty monitor cable. But testing the monitor on another PC, Is still the best way to check for monitor probs.

Hm weird thing I came back from the three day weekend and it was fine, I just kinda waited think that it whould mess up again but it still hasn't messed up.... so.... I have no idea lol thanks anyways guys. Hopefullly it will just keep working.
