That could be overheating. Try running your PC with the case door open. And if you have a table fan, aim it at the PC.

If this work. Get a couple of case fans. Just measure your PC case, fan holes before you buy anything.

Then get case fans in a suitable size. Enermax, Sunon, Panaflo or Vantec, is good choises. Put one in the front of the case as intake. And one in the rear as exhaust. The fans will have a small arrow on the side, showing in wich direction it will blow.

If you does'nt have any fan holes in your case. Get Vantec "Vcool" Slot video card cooler or an " Exhaust slot blower fan" And mount it next to your videocard. The best placement, is to leave a slot between the fan and the video card, if possible. Just unplug the PC a couple of minutes, before you start measuring and mounting fans! This is for your own safety.
Also grab the kitchen sink or water tap, to get rid of statical electrisity.
Even a small amount of static electrisity, can kill your hardware!

thank you goranpaa, i am quite sure it must have been because my computer is over heating because i have simply opened a window next to my computer and the game can now run without any problems. I am aware that this is only a temporary solution to my problem and first chance i get i shall go down to my local computer shop and ask them to fit a new fan or cooling video card for i am incapable myself. anyway thank you very much for your help much appreciated
