After logging into windows 98, i get a message saying C:\\WINDOWS\TEMP\SE.DLL is missing.

any ideas

run a registry cleaner.

should not be anytyhing refering to a temp folder like that. I am guessing you just recently removed some spyware or viri? Might just be an entry in your boot up. Try start >> run, then type "msconfig" and goto something like "startup" and make sure it's not checked.
