roller coaster tycoon 3 wont work

when i first installed roller coaster tycoon 3 and soaked it worked good the first time but when i went to play it the next day it would not open and it poped up with this message unable to authenticate original disc within time limit try again? but when i do it still wont open.

have you tried cleaning the disc?
