Office 97 questions

Here's my problem: I need to get Access 97 on a few computers. I have the upgrade, but not "qualifying" product (see link below for why the quotes are on qualifying.) Anyway, I don't need Word or Excel 97 (I'm running Office 2000, including Access), but this Access 97 is a must.

Thought process: One of the many "cheats" in the world of Microsoft is that I only have to have the installation CD for the qualifying product to get the Access 97 upgrade on my pc. I like this - except I only have one CD drive, and I don't want to buy or borrow an external just for this. But all the PCs Access 97 is going on have IOmega Zip 250 drives...

My solution: I'd like to copy Office 97 Standard Edition to a 250 MB Zip disk (or even a 100 MB Zip disk - those are cheaper!), then just insert it so I can install Access 97 - it will check the Zip Drive, find the qualifying product, then be very very happy, install, and then I shall be very very happy, and all will be right with the world once more.

Here's my question (and where you good OTSers come in): How much space does the Office 97 install CD actually take up - will all the files fit on a Zip disk (either size)? Surely someone has a CD at home they can check out...

Also let me know if I am way off base here - BTW, if I have to I'll install Word 97, then Access 97, the remove Word 97 if I have to; I've got nothing but time here.

EDIT (I do this wayyyyyy too much): It doesn't have to be Office 97 Standard Edition - that happens to be the easiest thing to find where I've been looking. Here's a list of qualifying products:

Microsoft Excel 97 & Word 97 for Alpha systems
Microsoft Office (all versions for Windows and Windows NT Workstation ) (best bet)
Microsoft Works (all versions for Windows)
Microsoft Access (1.0 or later)
Microsoft FoxPro for MS-DOS (2.0 or later)
Microsoft FoxPro for Windows (2.5 or later)
Microsoft Visual FoxPro for Windows (3.0)
Microsoft Office Small Business Edition (YEAH #$@%ING RIGHT!!!!!)

Is all these computers networked together? If they are, just leave the cd in the drive, and share that drive, then map to it from anycomputer, you should then be able to point the installation to that mapped drive to cheat the install. I use to do this all the time with the Windows ME Upgrade disk. As we all know it will not upgrade from 95 So I sliped a 98 SE disk in to a cd drive, shared it and mapped it, then when it asked for the path. I put in the mapped drive path and vola.

I considered that thought, except that I'll be doing this at various times - these computers need it now, but I don't how many will need it later on. I'll be doing a few soon, and then later on down the road, we may have a few more - y'know, when we get new computers, or the program needs to be reinstalled. I think my method will make it easier for Tech support (which is currently me), plus we'll be able to install it to a PC that isn't connected to the network just yet.

I also thought about saving the install files to the network, but seeing as how we only have a handful of the 40-odd PCs that need this (and it's usually only one or two pcs at a time), there isn't any reason to eat up some of our server space for this.
