duel shock problems

a while back my first ps2 gave out on me, so i bought a refurbished one at ebgames.
After a few games i noticed the vibrate didn't function, all the controlers i have worked
before. Any idea what could cause it to not work?

uh... It's most likely the game itself... most games now have the shock at off in the default, you just have to find the options menu in the game and turn it back on. Either that, or the motor's busted, if it is, then toss it and buy a new one
