Files/programs open incorrectly

When I click on a number of desktop and quicklaunch folders (icons) Money 2003 begins to load. When I then cancel the loading Money 2003 windows, the desired folder/program opens normally. Money attempts to load also when I push the special "My Computer" key on the keyboard. This loads up the drives folders.
If Money 2003 is left to load, the full program is activated.
Anyone any ideas as to how to stop this irksome problem?

Try uninstalling Money?

I eventually uninstalled the MS Money installer.
