yeah, I didn't realize it was as expensive as it was until a few weeks ago when everyone was talking about the upgrade. How much is it again?
Well, as i've said before, laggy, you are running a damn good site. Feel free to overcharge me on a t-shirt a little.

Well, a full, non-expiring license for individuals costs $249, and that entitles you to one year access to the Members Section, where you can download the latest UBB versions and revisions.
After the one-year access runs out, you can renew by paying $125.
Yeah, it's pretty expensive compared to other message board solutions. Last year, the license was only $199 when I got it. Still dunno if I should renew (my license expires in May), but I'll see if the latest version is enough for our needs, then I'll know
I can't overcharge for the tshirts, hehehe ... too many people know me

Do you actually pay for your games when you play em? You mean, you actually paid money to play that StarCraft crap? How about the other games you play? You mean, you actually BOUGHT it? *gasps*
Seriously, as with most premium software, you pay a sum to be able to use the full version of it. Granted anyone can probably download a pirated version of UBB somewhere, but some people (like me) prefer to support the men and women who worked day and night to make the software as good as it is right now.
There are free versons of it out there (like ikonboard), but I feel that I got a far superior product (not to mention ikonboard was just a rip-off of the original UBB code anyway, that's why they could afford to make it available for free - still a decent product, however).
With UBB, I say it's good money well spent - altho they're a tad overpriced, hehehe...
