first of al live been to many sites about 4 maybe 5 posting this on forums and all I get is flamed about how "YOU MUSTVE PIRATED IT"... blah blah and "Your lost your friends cd key didnt you? well to bad you pirater!" and all these other people just flaming me and like one person giving a little help that they could well anyway heres my story short and simple=p My cd key number got rubbed off the little sticker on the case now its smeared so bad that it cant be read and I have diablo 2 LOD installed on my computer and I need a way to recover it off the computer. I have tried one program that someone else suggested was on thehelper.net I only found one and it was allinone but it only worked for starcraft so that took me nowhere and I was told on another forum that it is stored of the computer someplace, encrypted in a mpq file someplace is what another person told me well this lil info did help me but maybe ill finally get enough that I can peice it together like a puzzle and finally have my problem solved=p. Well I hope I get a nicer response here=) sorry for the long post but I just had to say it to stop any possible people that may flame me for it=p well anyway thanks=)

Why don't you simply get in touch with Blizzard and ask them? Offer to fax a copy of the label or send in the CD and case for replacement.

email support@blizzard.com or sales@blizzard.com

I'll help you out man. I 've checked through the registry so it is not in there. So that will save you some time.

I doubt you will save him any time since his problem was like TWO years ago.
