M7VIG-400 problem

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I got my son a desktop computer with the following specs:
Redfox M7vig400 motherboard
Amd sempron 2200
128mb ddr pc266
40gb Seagate barracuda 7200 rpm
casing w/ 300psu
LG 52x cdrom drive
Gigabyte ATI radeon 7000 64mb
Compaq v45 monitor

Problem history:
1. WINXP PRo Installed OK. But while installing MS office it suddenly stopped, no display whatsoever. (about 45 minutes of operation)
2. Brought it back to the seller and he replaced the motherboard with the same model.
3. Installed MSOffice OK. Installed giant anti-spyware OK. Installed Sophos anti-virus, then it stopped again. Same symptoms.
4. Brought it back to the seller and he replaced the motherboard with the same model. He also replaced my AVR (500w) and the PSU (300w).
5. Installed three (3) online games. My son used the PC for about three hours a day for about a week. He shut it down properly, but when he started it again it won’t start. Same symptoms.

Is the M7VIG-400 a lemon? Any M7VIG-400 users out there?

I am an owner of M7VIG400

Fried the first board because of a misprint in the MAX speed of memory it could handle.

The second board is now resetting the computer after about 10 minutes of use.

Frustrated that I have to go through the hassle of getting it replaced.
